Thursday, March 13, 2025
Early morning non-stop flight from Phoenix to Portland on Alaska Airlines. Transfer to downtown and embark on a walking tour of the very “weird” city of Portland. The downtown area has everything from the world’s smallest park to the world’s largest bookstore, with eclectic cafes and coffeeshops and abundant green and open spaces. Lunch on own. Afternoon choral workshop with a master conductor. Check into the Oxford Suites at Jatzen Beach and then have dinner in a local restaurant.
Friday, March 14, 2025
Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to a local school for a choral exchange. Afterwards, have lunch on own and drive along the Columbia River to Multnomah Falls, 661-foot waterfall that can be viewed from a number of breathtaking vantage points. Return to the city for dinner, then present a concert of Chamber Singers and Bella Notti.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and load the motorcoach to depart for Seattle. En route, stop at the Mt St Helens Visitors Center, a remote, interactive educational center with spectacular views of the volcano and surrounding forest. Continue to Seattle with a stop for lunch on the way, then check into the Sonesta Renton hotel, have free time at the Seattle Center, and enjoy dinner as a group.

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a guided tour of Seattle. Stroll through Pike Place Market, Gasworks Park, Ballard Locks, and learn about the history and development of the city from a pioneer outpost to the major technology center (Microsoft, Amazon) it has become today. Following lunch on own in the Armory, visit the Museum of Pop Culture (formerly the Experience Music Project) for a multimedia exploration of the things that influence us each and every day. Dinner together as a group, then present a concert of Chamber Singers and Bella Notti.
Monday, March 17, 2025
Breakfast at the hotel, then check out and transfer to a local high school for a choral exchange. Have lunch on own, then enjoy a cruise on Lake Union to take in a some final views of the city from a different perspective, including the many floating houses that line the lake. Drive to the airport for dinner prior to the non-stop flight home to Phoenix.
